Gingerbread tea, book review set

A Gingerbread Tea and Book Review, along with cookie decorating and story telling have been set for Saturday, December 20 at the Cultural Arts Center and Old Jail Art Museum.

Gail Reed joke with one of the 22 wine vendors at the fifth annual Wine in the Pines event.The fifth annual Wine in the Pines event was termed a success by vendors, merchants, organizers and visitors alike. There were more than 1,400 people attending the paid wine tasting portion of the festival.

Reception to open Cozy Quilts exhibit

A reception to open the Cozy Quilts and Kitchen Art exhibit at the Cultural Arts Center will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 21. Admission will be canned goods to be donated to the Community Food Bank of Franklin County.

The Dove Brothers in concert at Calvary

The Dove Brothers Band will be in concert, Sunday, October 12 at 6 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Temple. Admission is free. The southern gospel band formed as The Dove Brothers in 1998.
