Moms in Prayer to meet

Moms and grandmothers are invited to an informational gathering to learn more about Moms In Prayer International on Thursday, Aug. 28. Rutledge quilts on display

Two quilts created by Joy Rutledge of Mount Vernon will be on display in Sulphur Springs for the next two weeks. The quilts were the Viewer’s Choice quilts at the Hopkins County quilt show in 2003 and 2005. For more information, see the Aug. 15 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.

Alzheimer Support Group to meet Saturday, August 17
