There was an excess of royalty hanging around the Dairy Queen last week and one of the aristocracy and her entourage quickly wore out their welcome.

The Franklin County Historical Association Board of Directors will be hosts for a Wine and Cheese Reception honoring artist Debora Schubert Lytle at the opening of an exhibit of her art.

The works of Debora Schubert Lytle of Commerce are being featured in a new exhibit in the West Gallery of the second floor at the Old Firestation Museum.

Mount Vernon Music’s  seventh concert season will close with a Musical Mother’s Day at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 12.
