Charles Randall Kay was convicted by a Franklin County jury of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third degree felony, in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Robert Newsom on Jan. 25.
Mr. Kay was sentenced to 50 years in prison. It is to be served after he has completed a 20 year sentence he is currently serving for copper theft. See the Feb. 18 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
