Paul Bramlett, director of bands for the Winnsboro ISD, was arrested late Tuesday afternoon on child sex charges. The eight indictments, alleging two counts each of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child, were handed down by the Franklin County Grand Jury earlier in the day. Mr. Bramlett, age 44 of Winnsboro, has been on paid administrative leave, according to Winnsboro Superintendent Dr. Mark Bosold. See the March 4 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
