Franklin County will be a part of the Dallas Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). City of Mount Vernon Investigator Berl Bridwell will be the designated local officer for the program. The task force is responsible for investigating cases of web-facilitated child pornography and cases of child sexual exploitation or abuse that result from contact over the Internet or other computer services.
