Fireworks on the lake Saturday

The 18th annual display of fireworks over Lake Cypress Springs will be Saturday night, July 4. The display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be presented by the Boltz family.

Street dance

Several couples dance on the northeast side of the downtown square.Several couples dance on the northeast side of the downtown square. Approximately 250 passed through the gate at the street dance on Saturday, June 27. The Cole Scoggins Band provided lots of boot scootin’ music throughout the evening.

Willis, Landrum tops in cookoff

Janna Krejci, Charles Haynes, Katie Landrum, Oley Willis, and Ronny Farmer were the winners in the cookoff.Oley Willis was the Grand Champion and Katie Landrum was the Reserve Grand Champion in the second annual Boots, Brew, and Barbeque cookoff on Saturday, June 27.
