First Cowboys documentary to premier next week

The feature length documentary about the “First Cowboys”  in the 1960s will be shown on Friday, December 29. The film by Michael and Amit Meredith will air on the NFL Channel at 8 p.m. central time.

EDC Board approves funding support for three projects

The Mount Vernon Economic Development Board approved funding support totaling between $86,000 and $106,000 for three local development projects following public hearings at a special called session of the board Monday evening, December 18.
