Jy’Mon Hatcher, age three, told his Grandma Darlene Hatcher that his spaghetti dinner was “Mmm Good.” The dinner brought in $1,270 for the Meals on Wheels program with just under $300 of the total coming from the cake and pie sale.
Large contributions were made to the cause from First National Bank of Mount Vernon with $500 and Dr. Jean Latortue with $250. According to NETO Executive Director Beverly Logan, the organization will probably conduct the fundraiser more regularly.
