Program growing from first grade to age 21 for area youth

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) programs involve more than 100 youth and adult leaders in Franklin County. That is an annual increase of about 10 percent over the past two years.

The program continues to grow as many parents, grandparents and community leaders see the need to return youth to the core values taught in the BSA program. For more information about the local scouting program, see the Feb. 6 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
