Blind Date with a book a hit

The Franklin County Library’s ‘Blind Date with a Book’ program has been very popular with local readers. “We started out with 45 wrapped books on February 1, and in just one week 28 had been checked out,” Library Director Lisa Lawrance said.

Like a true blind date, readers who check out a special “blind date” book won’t know the title or author of their book.  See the Feb. 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for the rest of this story.
