Sears elected United Way prexy, funding letters go out

Brandon Sears, vice-president and branch manager for Guaranty Bond Bank in Mount Vernon, was elected president of the United Way of Franklin County last week.

He was elected at the organization’s annual meeting in April after having served on the board for two years, including one year as vice-president. Other officers elected to serve are vice-president Scott Sewell, secretary Betty Sue Allen, and treasurer Mark Hymer. See the May 1 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information about the United Way of Franklin County.
