The Franklin County Commissioners Court members tightened the regulations for the use of Franklin County’s Revolving Loan Fund to meet state mandates at their meeting Monday, June 10. The fund was established
in the 1980s, with funds to be loaned to business developers. The low interest loan is paid back to the county. The county was then allowed to loan the fund again to other qualified businesses For more details on this and other action items from the meeting, see the June 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
