Three members of the Franklin County Commissioners Court met with 11 members of the Cypress Springs Special Utility District’s Board of Directors last week. The Court appealed to the CS-SUD board to support the youth by providing reduced rate water for the Franklin County Sports Complex.
The county proposes to put in a second larger meter at the complex site for use with the automated sprinkler system for the playing fields. This meter would be used to water the fields when the irrigation pond is too low to be used. See the rest of this story in the October 17 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
