Paying off one loan and refinancing another will save the Cypress Springs Special Utility District about $700,000 as it prepares to incur another $3.3 million in debt to double the size of its North Treatment Plant off FM 900.
The district’s board of directors approved the pay off of $415,199.32 remaining on a note for radio read meters at its regular July meeting. For more details from the SUD’s actions, see the August 7 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
