County sells two drug dogs

The sale of the Franklin County Constable’s two drug detecting dogs to the City of Naples and The City of Winfield was approved last week by the Franklin County Commissioners Court. The City of Naples purchased one of the dogs for $3,500 with a one year promissory note. The second dog, which is younger, was purchased by the City of Winfield for $4,500. See the April 5 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details from the commissioner’s meeting.
