Scholarships totaling $20,000 were recently awarded as part of Wood County Electric Cooperative’s (WCEC) “Power My World” essay contest. Ten students residing within WCEC’s service area will each receive a $2,000 scholarship toward continuing education. They were selected from among 73 eligible applicants.
