Sealed  proposals for contracts listed below will be received by TxDOT until  the date(s) shown below, and then publicly read.

Contract 6195-31-001 for HOT POUR CRACK SEAL in HOPKINS County, etc will be opened on September 17, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the District Office for an estimate of $283,470.00.
Contract 6198-58-001 for ONE WAY TRAFFIC CONTROL (FLAGGING) in FRANKLIN County will be opened on September 17, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the District Office for an estimate of $80,000.00.

The Mount Vernon ISD is now accepting proposals on the following items for 2009-2010 school year:

All proposals must be in a sealed envelope marked clearly on the outside: PROPOSAL NAME, DUE DATE, & TIME, submitted to Mount Vernon ISD, P.O. Box 98, Mt. Vernon, TX 75457. Proposals must be received by 1:00 P.M. NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A DISPOSAL WELL PERMIT IN A PRODUCTIVE FORMATION 7/9/2009

SDG OPERATING COMPANY, INC.; 3650 OLD BULLARD RD. SUITE 300; TYLER, TX  75701 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to inject fluid into a formation which is productive of oil or gas. This applicant proposes to inject oil and gas waste into the Paluxy formation  J. Bagwell Lease, Well Number 1R.  The proposed injection well is located  9.0 miles NE of Mount Vernon in the Bagwell, S. (Paluxy) Field, in Franklin County.  Fluid waste will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 4930 to 5022 feet.

LEGAL AUTHORITY:  Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
