NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A FLUID INJECTION WELL PERMIT
IN A PRODUCTIVE FORMATION
XTO Energy Inc. - 6141 Paluxy Drive, Tyler, TX 75703 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for a permit to inject fluid into a porous formation which is productive of oil or gas.
The applicant proposes to inject oil and gas waste into the Paluxy formations in its Talco West Unit Lease, Well Number(s) 2606I. The proposed injection well is located 4.68 miles SW of Talco in the Talco Fields, in Franklin County, Texas. The fluid waste will be injected into strata in the subsurface depth interval from 4200 to 5000 feet.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: Chapter 27 of the Texas Water Code, as amended, Title 3 of the Texas Natural Resources Code, as amended, and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
