Funeral services for Judy May Moss, age 58 of Scroggins, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro. Burial was in the Piney Grove Cemetery with Bro. Perry Shirley officiating.
Mrs. Moss was born Aug. 16, 1954 in Pittsburg to Lewis and Decie Hilburn Overstreet. She was a homemaker and member of the Sharon Baptist Church.
She died Sunday, July 21 in Scroggins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, Debrah Moss and Carol Lynette Moss, three brothers, Jimmy, Roy, and Joe Overstreet, two sisters, Hazel Winchester and Delores Goodson.
She is survived by her husband, John Moss of Scroggins; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Moss and Ronny and Brandy Moss all of Scroggins; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Jimmy Bourland of Kilgore; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joann and A.C. Winchester of Houston and Bobbie and Clifford Seals of Simpsonville; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Quincy Goodson, Anthony Albright, Andrew Jackson, Randy Buchanan, Brian Starek, and Troy Farmer.
