Graveside services for Lee Myrtis Duty Rich, age 90 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Blankenship officiating.
Ms. Rich was born on Oct. 15, 1923 to Oscar Dow Duty and Minnie Cash Duty. She was a dairy farmer and a member of the Glade Springs Baptist Church.
She died on Saturday, Nov. 2 at East Texas Medical Center - Mount Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Mary Wyatt, Pearl Caviness, Fay Caviness, Alma Bryant, Julia Gordon, and an infant sister.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Rich and Lennie Rich, both of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Gail Rich Martin of Mount Vernon and Shela Mason of Salt Lake City, Utah; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Pat Quinn, Mark Anschutz, Laramy Cox, Ron Rich, Colby Chitsey, and David Johnston.
