Funeral services for Carolyn Rae Forsyth Stephens, age 48 of Talco, were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel in Mount Pleasant.
Burial was in the Stephens/Forsyth Cemetery in Franklin County.
Mrs. Stephens was born June 23, 1965 in Mount Pleasant to Jewel Jason Forsyth and Ruie Brooks Forsyth. She was a homemaker and private sitter.
She died Thursday, Nov. 7 in Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John David Stephens, her brothers, Mack, Jerry, and Richard Forsyth, and a sister-in-law, Debbie Forsyth.
She is survived by three sons, Josh Stephens and Gretchen Bell of Talco, John Stephens of Talco, and Stephen and Kristian Burgen of Lone Oak; three grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Tommy Forsyth of Mount Vernon, Robert Forsyth of Paris, Ronald Forsyth of Mount Vernon, Jimmy and Nancy Forsyth of Monahans, and Edwin and Dorette Forsyth of Texarkana, Tex.; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Shirley and Randy Logan of Haughton, La., Sharon Forsyth of Mount Vernon, and Sally and Everett Wallace of Talco.
Pallbearers were Dale Alsup, Jimmy Forsyth, Jr., Richard Forsyth, T. J. Forsyth, Timothy Forsyth, and C. A. Middleton.
