Graveside services for Mary Lou Duenkel, age 83, of Mt. Vernon, TX, were held at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, TX, on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. David Dotson officiating.
Visitation was held at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Ms. Duenkel died on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Titus Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1930 in Pampa, Texas, to Edward H. Mazey and Juanita Rennison Mazey. She was a retired office manager for a medical practice and was a Christian.
She is survived by her son, Terry Duenkel, and wife, Debbie, of Mt. Vernon; daughter, Cynthia Ann Fuentes, and husband, Albert “Trey,” of Dallas; granddaughter, Kristy Lynn Worley, and husband Ray “Skeet,” of Maima, TX; grandson, Tyler Lynn Duenkel; great granddaughters, Nakita Ray Lynn Worley, Larissa Krystelle Worley; nephew, Tommy Groves; and grandniece, Nicole Groves.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, William “Bill” R. Mazey; sister, Juanita Helen Christian, and husband, Bill.
