Services for James A. “Jack” Mills, age 90 of Talco were Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at Bates Cooper-Sloan Chapel in Mount Pleasant with Bro. Michael Mars officiating.
Burial followed at Bridges Chapel Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
Mr. Mills was born Aug. 8, 1923 to in Titus County to Orville D. and Ethel Mae Hanks Mills. He was a former oil field worker, truck driver and school bus driver for Rivercrest School District. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Talco.
Mr. Mills died Thursday, Jan. 2 in Talco.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Willa Jo Mills and two brothers, C. S. and Dick Mills.
Mr. Mills is survived by his wife, Ann Mills of Talco, two sons, James B. “Buster” Mills of Grand Prairie and Randy M. Mills of Sherman; a brother, Zack “Jabo” Mills of Talco, three granddaughters and 12 great-grandchildren.
