Services for James David Pack of Gilmer were at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.
Burial followed at Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County.
Everett Foster, pastor at Mr. Pack’s home church, the First Penecostal Church of Pittsburg, and Mike Bridges conducted the service. Mr. Pack died Wednesday, Jan. 1, at his home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1954 in Pittsburg the son of Clarence and Flora Pack. Mr. Pack was employed in the maintenance department at Pilgrims Pride Industries.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Pack and two brothers, Charles and Gerald Pack.
Mr. Pack is survived by his wife, Kathy Pack of Gilmer; children, Andrew Pack and wife, Christina, of Pittsburg; Josh Pack and wife, April, of Mount Vernon; Rodney Pack of Gilmer; and eight grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mother: Flora Pack of Winnsboro; a brother, Jerry Pack of Pine View; and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and David Judge of Pine View.
Palbearers were Alec Pack, Tyson Brockmon, Austin Sawyer, Mark Hammonds, David Pack and Ronald Pack. Honorary palbearers were Bill Redden, Wayne Broadstreet, Bill Sawyer, Russell Sawyer, Gregory Sawyer, Jerry Pack and Justin Pack.
