Funeral services for Geneva Pryor, age 99 of Mount Vernon, were at 2 p.m. First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon with Rev. Don Tinsley officiating.
She was born on Dec. 12, 1914, in Franklin County, the daughter of John Robert and Lillie Mae (Frazier) Tinsley.
She married Claxton T. Pryor Aug. 21, 1931, in Hugo, Okla. Mrs. Pryor was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Mount Vernon.
Mrs. Pryor died Tuesday, Jan. 28, at ETMC in Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1985; a son, Bill D. Pryor, in 2011; and a grandson, Duane Davidson, in 2003.
Mrs. Pryor is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack Pryor and wife, Amy, of McKinney, Damon Pryor and wife, Cary, of Seattle, Wa., Butch Pryor and wife, Edith, of Mount Vernon; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeannette Glenn Baily of Mesquite, Jo Davidson and husband, Frank, of Mount Vernon, Margie Foreman and husband, Frank, of Casper, Wyo., Sue Little of Sulphur Springs; 23 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Mount Vernon City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark Glenn, Roger Pryor, Richard Pryor, Kevin Pryor, Warren Foreman, Aaron Little and Thomas Davidson. Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
