Mrs. Dorothy Lynn Grau of Houston, Texas passed away on August 2, 2011 at the age of 82. She was a resident of Atlanta, Texas from 1952 through 2003.
She will be interred alongside her dear husband, Derwin C. Grau at Bethsaida Y Cemetery. Mrs. Grau was the fourth child of Johnnie and Ruby Gilbert of Mt. Vernon, Texas.
Mrs. Grau is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Howard of Houston, her daughter Kathy Weaver, formerly of Atlanta, her grandsons Jeffrey Howard of Austin and Kevin Hailey, formerly of Atlanta, her granddaughter-in-law Tami Bailey of Queen City and her great grandchildren Sierra and Parker Hailey of Queen City, Felicia Sprayberry of Atlanta and William and Henry Howard of Austin.
She is also survived by her sisters Marie Sparks and Gay Pryor of Ft. Worth, Joanne Stretcher of Mt. Vernon, Joyce Glover of Plano and her brothers Paul Gilbert of Burleson and Dale Gilbert of Longview.
There will be a memorial celebration of Mrs. Grau’s life held at the home of her sister, Joanne Stretcher in Mt. Vernon, Texas, on Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2011. Family and friends of Mrs. Grau are invited to attend.
