Funeral services for Suzanne Turner, age 64 of Saltillo, were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Weaver Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Rogers and Ken Clay officiating.
Mrs. Turner was born June 17, 1947 in Sulphur Springs to R. B. Bennett and Vera Mae Womack. She married Glen Turner on Sept. 23, 1966. She was a member of the Weaver Baptist Church and was retired from Carlton’s as a supervisor.
She died Thursday, Aug. 25 in Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Turner of Saltillo; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Randy Cannon of Hagansport; two grandchildren, Justin and Kellee Cannon; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lewis and Brenda Turner of Mount Vernon.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Parris, Johnny McAfee, Wade Cannon, Donald Joe Davis, Benny Davis, and Rusty Barker. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Hatchell, Bobby Goswick, Leo Matthews, and Wayne Garrettson.
