Funeral services for Nadine Crittenden, age 80 of Mount Vernon, were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at the Cornerstone Church. Burial was in the Providence Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Headrick and Rev. Jim Crittenden officiating.
Mrs. Crittenden was born on Feb. 22, 1932 in Devol, Okla., to Andrew J. and Agnes A. Bryant Shaw. She married James Crittenden on June 11, 1963. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Cornerstone Church of Mount Vernon.
She died Friday, Jan. 18 at East Texas Medical Center - Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ross Allan Shaw, and stepson, Bobby Wayne Crittenden.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jim Crittenden; her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Donna Price of Houston, Randall and Linda Price of Hideaway, John and Wanda Price of Justin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teressa and Paul Cochrane of Euless and Judie and David Ridley, Jr., of Waco; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Price, Randall Price, John Price, Paul Cochrane, Rodney Ricks, Richard Carr, David T. Ridley, Jr., and David T. Ridley, III.
