Softball camp

A total of 30 girls attended the two day camp. Coach Bohlken received help from five college and five high school softball players during the camp.

Seawright named Pitcher of the Year

Jamie SeawrightJamie Seawright was named as the Pitcher of the Year for District 16-3A. Seawright is a junior and is the daughter of  Mary Keys and Ray Seawright.

High school anglers compete at Regional, garner prizes

Regional qualifying anglers Will Gamblin, Tyler Cooper,  Kaden Proffitt, Lee Reeves, and Chase HymanMembers of the Franklin County High School Bass Team (FCBT) completed their first season of competition by competing in the Texas High School Bass Association’s regional championship

Morris, Seawright, Hoffman are named outstanding athletes

Award recipients at the 2015 All Sports BanquetKierra Morris, Jamie Seawright, and Patrick Hoffman were named as the Outstanding Athletes for 2014-2015 at the All Sports Banquet for Mount Vernon High school on Monday, May 4.

Haley, Banister receive All-District top honors

Hunter Haley and Blake BanisterHunter Haley was named the Pitcher of the Year and Blake Banister was named the Defensive Player of the Year for 2015 by the coaches in District 16-3A. Jones competes at Golf State meet

Coach Jack Arnwine and Claire JonesClaire Jones, a junior at Saltillo High School, competed at the 1A State Golf tournament in Austin last week. She finished with a two day score of 238. Jones qualified for the state tournament
