Tiger golf takes first place

The Mount Vernon Tiger boys golf team claimed first place at a tournament at the Clarksville Country Club on Thursday, April 3. Brady Watson shot an 88 and claimed second place overall at the tournament.

Tennis team claims four trophies

The Mount Vernon Varsity Tennis Team traveled to Paris on March 21 for the Prairiland “Shoot out” Tournament and brought home four trophies.

Floyd named to All Region team

Emily FloydEmily Floyd was named to the All Region team by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. Floyd a 5’9” senior forward scored a total of 307 points for the Lady Tigers during the season.

Junior varsity wins two district games

Lady Tigers second at Pittsburg

Alyssa Auringer won first place in the triple jump Alyssa Auringer won first place in the triple jump with a leap of 31’8” at the Pittsburg meet. The Lady Tiger track team finished in second place at the Pittsburg track meet on Thursday, March 20.
