Tigers, Raiders to meet Friday night

The Mount Vernon Tigers and the Winnsboro Red Raiders will play the 82nd game of the Hwy. 37 football rivalry at Tiger field on Friday, October 16. The action will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Tigers start district competition Friday

The Mount Vernon Tigers football team will start their 2015 District 7-3A D1 competition on the road on Friday, October 9 in New Boston. All six of the district teams had open dates last week.
