Lady Tigers finish fifth at Caddo Mills track meet

Lady Tigers in first place after first round of district

The Mount Vernon Lady Tigers successfully defended a bunt attempt by the DeKalb lady Bears. First baseman Emily Floyd moved forward to field the hit as second baseman Jordanne Doncia covered first base for the out. The Mount Vernon Lady Tiger softball team finished the first half of district play in first place with a record of 5-1 and an overall record of 20-7.
