Junior varsity perfect in district

Mount Vernon High School boys golf teamThe Mount Vernon High School boys golf team finished in second place at the District tournament. They competed at the Regional tournament Monday and Tuesday, April 14-15 in Bullard at Oak Hurst Golf Course.

Mount Vernon seventh grade girls track teamThe Mount Vernon seventh grade girls track team is the 2014 District Champions. The team garnered 256 points at the district meet.
