Girls golf regionals bound

The Mount Vernon High School girls golf team is advancing to the regional tournament set for April 24-25 in Bullard. Layton Wright from the boys team is also advancing.

The Mount Vernon boys varsity track team won first place at the district meeting on Monday, April 10. They racked up 188 points.

The junior varsity Tiger baseball team has been making tracks across the diamond during the 2017 season. The team is undefeated in district and 10-4 for the season.
