Owl calling contestants do their best

State Ornithologist Cliff Shackleford, first on left, and Dr. Will Godwin, not shown, presented the program on the nine varieties of woodpeckers, their favorite food - Arthropods, and the types of habitat that attracts them. Seventy-five people attended the program. About one-third of the attendees participated in an “Owl Prowl” in the woods of White Oak Creek following the program.
