Residents from the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center in Bonham were treated to lunch at the American Legion Post 243 on Sunday, May 7.
The day was a joint effort by the Legionaires, members of the Auxillary, Sons of the American Legion, and the Legion riders groups. The veterans enjoyed games, cards, and pool during their stay. The group’s bus was escorted into town by local law enforcement and members of the Patriot Riders.
