“North Pole of Texas” now open

The Alan Screws family will open the North Pole of Texas display for the 2019 holiday season on Friday, November 29.

The display is free and open to the public. This is the 22nd year for the display, which offers train rides, hot chocolate and more than 90,000 lights in addition to cut-outs, an animated Santa’s Toy Shop, and paddle-boat elves. See the November 28 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information.
