Mandatory curriculum meeting set for freshmen, their parents

Incoming Mount Vernon High School freshmen and their parents must attend one of two informational meetings about how House Bill 5 will affect graduation requirements in Texas.
The first meeting will be Sunday, April 6 at 6 p.m. The second will be Tuesday, April 8 at 5:30 p.m. Both will be in the high school lecture hall. For more information about HB5, see the April 3 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
