4-H Club event to benefit animal shelter

An event to kick off the 2019-20 year for the Franklin County 4-H Club will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 21 on the downtown plaza.

The event will benefit the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter. Game booths such as horseshoes, corn hole, nerf gun shoot out, and several others, will feature what 4-H projects offer for members. See the September 19 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details about this event.
