Honors program films project at local historical home

Members of the Northeast Texas Community College Honors Program have begun work on their annual film for the 2020-2021 school year.

Classes have not started for the upcoming semester, but students with the program have been hard at work. They were shooting scenes for the film about the life of Bo Pilgrim in Mount Vernon on Tuesday, August 11. The group has won the prestigious Caldwell Award three times in the past few years. To learn more about this project, see the August 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
