Chamber Stew Contest set Saturday on downtown plaza

Fourteen cooking teams have registered to compete in the 36th annual Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Stew Cook-off.

The entry deadline today, Thursday, October 8. for the Saturday, Oct. 10, contest. The assortment of stews will be served beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets for all-you-can-eat of the stews will be available. See more information in the October 8 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
