The Mount Vernon Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 5 at the fire station on Highway 37.

The Carter BloodCare bus will be set up in the parking lot. See the December 3 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information on how to schedule an appointment time.
