The Campble, Garcia, and Stephens families each received a portion of these funds for holiday assistance. The American Legion Post 243 and the Sons of the American Legion group made donations of $18,000 during the past month to spread a little holiday cheer.

During a special presentation Tuesday, December 15, the groups doled out $12,550 of that total.
