Food basket sign ups open

The Community Food Bank of Franklin County has begun the process of identifying those who need to receive the annual Christmas For All food baskets in 2013.

Applications are available only at the Food Bank located at 822 Leftwich St. It is open Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. and Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. For more information, see the November 7 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
