Preservation Month tours planned Monday

Preservation Month will kick off with the first public tours of the renovation project at the Franklin County Courthouse and a light hearted tour of the older section of the Mount Vernon City Cemetery Monday evening, May 5.

Former County Judge Jerry Hubbell and his wife, Franklin County Historical Association Director Elease Hubbell, will coordinate the tours at the courthouse. There are two tour times, 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. For more information, see the May 1 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-herald.
