Family intervention goes too far

A family intervention went too far around 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 and warrants have been issued as a result.

Kristena Payne went to a neighbors residence just after 10 p.m. for help after being assaulted. Deputy Brian Gurley noted that she had blood on her nose, cheeks and forehead when he arrived a short time later. See the June 4 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald, for the rest of this story.
