Traffic stop leads to two arrests

A traffic stop for an expired registration turned into two arrests. One for an outstanding warrant, and the other for drug charges.

Franklin County Deputy Jacob Watkins performed a traffic stop on a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer around 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 22 on FM 115 near the Lake Cypress Springs bridge. While interviewing the driver, Deputy Watkins detected the odor of marijuana.
