Rail board considering operation agreement change

A change in the six-month old operating agreement with the North East Texas Connector is being considered by members of the North East Texas Rural Rail Transportation District’s Board of Directors.
Instead of bring the rail line to a Class I standard and then to Class II, NETC wants to go directly to a Class II as they repair each area. See the January 21 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for the rest of this story.
