Vehicle reported stolen hit by train in Como

A Chrysler Pacifica was reported stolen around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24 from a residence in the 700 block of the Northeast Access Rd.

Jody Brown and April Locke reported they had last seen the vehicle parked at this residence around 10 p.m. the previous evening. The vehicle was leased from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and the keys had been left in a cup holder.The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office later learned that the vehicle had been left on a railroad track in Como and had been hit by a passing train.
